About Faculty
Overview:

The Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology was established in 1999 when the University College first started with a Computer Science diploma program (three years). With the continuous expansion of the University, other programs were added in chronological order as follows:

In August 2002, two diploma programs for Management Information Systems and Accounting Information Systems were added.

On August 29, 2010, a four-year Bachelor of Information Technology program was added to the existing programs.

On June 3, 2016, an Information Systems program was finally approved.

In accordance with its development plan, the Faculty aims to add more programs and majors in Computer Science and Information Technology in the future.

About the Faculty:

The Faculty adopted a semester-based system with credit hours and a grade point average (GPA). The system is modified with a fixed minimum pass mark as determined by the Faculty administration.

Degrees Awarded:

(A) Bachelor's degree in Public Information Technology with 140 credit hours completed in four academic years (eight semesters).

(B) Bachelor's degree in Information Systems (Honors) with 175 credit hours completed in five academic years (ten semesters).

(C) Bachelor's degree in Information Systems with 151 credit hours completed in four academic years (eight semesters).

(D) Three-year diplomas in the following programs:

  • Information Systems
  • Information Technology
  • Accounting Information Systems
  • Management Information Systems (MIS)
